This Privacy Policy explains how Skills System LLC (“Skills System,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our websites www.skillssystem.com and https://members.skillssystem.com (together, the “Sites”), including the E-Learning platform, My Skills Page, and the AI Assistant Bot.

1. Overview

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of all users, including individuals with disabilities and users in the United States and internationally. We comply with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA for the information we store.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information: When you create an account, purchase a membership, or register for training, we may collect your name, email address, payment details, and related information.
Non-Identifying and Usage Data: We may collect information such as device data, browser type, IP address, and browsing patterns on the Sites.
E-Learning Participation: We collect data related to your participation in Courses 1 and 2 to manage accounts and provide certifications.
My Skills Page: Any data you enter into your My Skills Page is stored securely but not reviewed or used for clinical purposes.
AI Assistant Bot: The Bot does not collect, store, or retain any user information. Interactions are not monitored, saved, or reviewed by Skills System.

3. Use of Information
We use your information to:

Provide and manage our services
Send training materials or support emails
Maintain secure user access and account integrity
Improve user experience and accessibility

We do not use any data from the AI Assistant Bot, as it does not store or retain user information.

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share your data with:

Service providers acting on our behalf
Legal or regulatory authorities when required
As part of a business transfer or legal compliance process

5. International Users
If you access the Sites from outside the U.S., you agree that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We retain personal data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We use encryption, firewalls, and secure servers to protect your data; however, no system is 100% secure. Accordingly, we do not guarantee the security of our databases, nor that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or other network. Any information you transmit to Skills System, you do at your own risk. We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting through the Sites within the most expedient timeframe possible and without unreasonable delay, as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

7. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under thirteen (13) years of age. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Users must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to access and use the Sites. By using the Sites, you represent and warrant that you are thirteen (13) years of age or older and that you agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions of the Agreement. If Skills System believes that you are under the age of thirteen (13) or that you are not old enough to consent to and be legally bound by the Agreement, Skills System may, at any time, in its sole discretion, and with or without notice: (i) terminate your access to or use of the Sites (or any portion, aspect, or feature of them), or (ii) delete any content or information that you have posted through the Sites.
